The pages 557-558 mention the attrocities committed by Berber Goumiers in the following villages: Ceccano, Pisterzo, Esperia, Lenola, Cancello. On May 24 1944 Juin condemned 'acts of brigandage'. On May 27 Clarck wrote a severe letter to Juin. Later on Berber women were transferred to Italy to cool down the Goumiers. Cluster: Marocchinate.
