Illustrated paperback, 4to, in ill. slipcase, 220 pp., more than 400 photos on this famous battle in Italy in 1943-1944, maps. Texts in 6 languages. The final battle took place between 11 and 18 May 1944. Maroccan troups under the command of general Juin occupy the Aurunci Mountains and the Liri Valley.
